Septemper of 2007.. I decided that I needed a new project. At the time I had a Mitsibushi 3000GT. A nice car but was constantly repairing it instead of enjoying it.. Took a drive through the back roads of Western KY and TN. Looking for that car that begged, buy me, fix me. Seeing an old Nova, that was an interesting item so I stopped. The Nova had so much cancer, I did not wish to take it on,... but off in the fescue field was this black Camaro.. Walked out looking it over.. decided the body was sound and the price right so purchashed it with every intention of making a street rod out of it. Got it out of the field, onto a trailer and took it home. Having to literally yank the trailer out from under it as the driver side wheel was hung on the brake caliper.. the following pages are a picture history of all we have accomplished to date. and there are so many things that still need work. Enjoy the tale of the reaper as it unfolds.

before I could set the Motor. tore the front suspension out repaired it. stripped the peeling black paint from the Engine compartment.. and since the theme of this Vehicle is the reaper decided to use Compitition Red and the cross braces are black.. but the rear sway bars are the same Compitition red.
(friend opened the hood the first time Said "looks Like you rolled over a Black Widow Spider" and so the entire color scheme will follow this black and red)
http://memimage.cardomain.com/member_images/3/web/3123000-3123999/3123763_5.jpg

well we thought the Old radiator would hold up. and last weekend the darn thing decided was time to die. so Friday went into town and got a brand new Aluminum Radiator.. Installed it before work.. now all the components in the Engine Comparment are new.

EXHAUST
the Camaro was a single exhaust when it was constructed along the passenger side. with the shorty headers wanted true Dual Exhaust so with some thought and some design work managed to fit up a true duel exhaust system. Added in line Cherrybomb mufflers. The exhaust does not come to the rear of the car, the pipes are turned out just behind the doors and right before the rear tires.

Finally got the Exhaust Finished... Custom exhaust, moved out from center so can work on the transmission and drive train.. Saving working around the exhaust system.. Pictures follow

Future Interior Mods

New Black Carpeting
Seats Covered in the black and Red Reaper theme
Door Panels black and red

Already Reworked the headliner. (need to get a good Picture) the Old was in Bad Shape, The Material was 98 percent rotted and hanging there not very attractive.
what I did here cost less than 20 bucks. the steps Follow.
1. Removed the headliner panel and placed on a workstation(used sawhorses)
2. removed the old cloth and backing from the Fiberglass sheet.
3. Sprayed the Damaged Fiberglass Core with Enamel Paint (Spray Bomb). This works to seal the core and prevent Future Separation,
4. Used 3 M Spray Adhesive (follow Instructions on the Can) Having Purchased a Light weight Fabric From Wal-Mart in the right Dimensions. (6 bucks)
5. Working from the Middle Outwards applied the cloth worked out any bubbles or wrinkles with a bondo paddle. Trim the excess.
6. Reinstall the recovered headliner in the car and saved about 150.00 doing it myself
