In this Adobe Photoshop tutorial we will make a stylish girly pink text effect in just a few steps, like the one below.

First type in the text you want to apply this effect to, hold down ctrl and click the text layer in the layers panel to load the text selection.
Now you can delete the text layer.
Create a new empty layer for us to work in.
Make a gradient like the one below and drag it in the text selection.

Now with the brush tool, choose a small size brush, with a white color and draw some random lines in the text selection as shown below.

Make a copy of the text layer for backup later.
With the bottom one go to filter -> blur -> motion blur and give it a blur as shown below.

Go to filter -> filter gallery and locate the filter called chrome and give it settings as shown below.

Now we will be changing the colors so go to image -> adjustments -> color balance and drag the handles to make it look pink as shown below.

Now put the other text layer (which we saved before) at the top in the layers panel.
Give it a pink gradient, and set its blending mode to color burn.
